The Airfield has been in operation since 1944 when it was established as a satellite of Finningley with Halifax and Lancasters. We currently have 65 members, mainly flying, although social members are very welcome.Events are orgainsed throughout the year, the next is one leg of teh British Aerobatic championship on March 28th.

The club has an excellent Bar and Restaurant facilities which is open Tuesday to Friday midday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. There is a viewing area close to the runway which provides excellent views of landing aircraft.

Membership is £17.00 per month for flying members. This provides access to the airfield when not licensed (at own risk), reduced fuel price, no landing fees and reduced hangar fees.

Hangarage is available at £50 per week, and parking at £25 per week.
