VISITING PILOTS SANDTOFT AIRFIELD
Sandtoft Airfield operates on a licensed basis at weekends, and on request. The airfield is open weekdays 09.00 to 17.00 on an unlincesed basis. It is PPR for visiting non radio aircraft and out of hours movements.
Members can use the airfield at any time on an unlicensed basis, and at their risk. For more information see
LEARN TO FLY AT SANDTOFT AIRFIELD
Private Pilot flying training, including IMC and night, is offered in Cessna 150/172 and Piper PA28 Aeroplanes. Multi engine training will shortly be available shortly. We have around 25 students at any time.
We offer friendly, relaxed and efficient instruction at our Sandtoft, with its 900m long hard runway, and with an outstanding pass rate. FAA Bi-Annuals ( BFRs) and Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC)s can also be provided.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE at FENLAND and SANDTOFT AIRFIELDS
We maintain both EASA, Annex 2, and FAA "N" registered aircraft up to Light Turbines ( TBM 750 series), and Eclipse jets. Our Chief Engineer holds FAA IA Authorisation. We support aircraft owners throughout the UK from Sandtoft to Biggin Hill and the Isle of Man, including avionic upgrades, NDT and component overhaul.

E-Plane is expanding its activities at Sandtoft Airfield, further news shortly! NDT Magnetic Particle Inspection is busy with our second Merlin Engine destined for a Spitfire.
The CAA have recently extended our BCAR approval to cover any single engine metal or wood Annex 2 Aircraft upto 5700Kg. This includes Light Sport aircraft, and Microlight Group. This together with our Approval to issue National permits and Certificates of Validity means that we will be able to fully support all light aircraft from the smallest microlight upto Pressurised Piper P31P, Turbine TBM 750/850 and even Eclipse Jets ( latter N register only).
Virtually unstallable and with a very low approach speed it will be an ideal learner platform. We will offer Microlight rental immediately and shortly afterwards Microlight training.
Contact Graham Corbin for a traia flight in our C42, now permanently based at Sandtoft. It has a full glass panel with backup analogue instruments, a Mode S Transponder and 8.3Khz Com. It is fitted with a ballistic parachute recovery system and uses Mogas.
